Friends of the Band and Flags

Welcome to the Jefferson High School Friends of the Band and Flags Program! Our tradition of musical excellence dates back over 50 years. The list of students and families positively impacted by their experiences in our ensembles is extensive, and it keeps growing! We had a fabulous 2024-25 year with our traditional marching band and the classroom bands. This fall, the marching band and flag corps will begin their season with the Minnesota State Fair parade followed by four halftime shows. We invite you to join us as the marching band debuts in Jefferson’s brand new stadium located on campus! The season will conclude with the annual indoor band concerts in October. Additionally, the concert band is excited to travel to Italy for a performance tour in March 2026!

The money that is raised by the Friends of the Band and Flags goes to supporting the day-to-day activities of running a top-notch, high performing band including equipment needs, chaperones, stipends, uniform repair/replacement, and so much more. Your generous support helps ensure the students continue to get meaningful opportunities to experience music, marching, twirling, teamwork, leadership, and all the academic benefits music education provides.

Joining Friends of the Band and Flags also provides exclusive access to a special keepsake. Donations at the Adagio level or higher will receive this special keepsake while supplies last.

Families and friends – we invite you to become an official member of Friends of the Band and Flags by making a financial contribution in honor of your special band or flag performer, an alumni member, in memory of someone, or simply a friendly donation – any amount is greatly appreciated.

Business donors – we invite you to become an official member of Friends of the Band and Flags by making a financial contribution. At the Allegro level or higher, your business will be recognized in concert programs throughout the school year.

Thank you in advance for helping to create life-long music skills, memories, and friendships. The Jefferson Band and Flags are fortunate to have such great parents, neighbors, friends, families, and business community. We are grateful for your support.
